Evony
âI can feel you staring at me.â
I was a bit startled because I didnât know that he was awake. Now his big brown eyes were looking at me and I didn't know what to say. Instead, I did the adult thing and hit my face.
âCome on Evony. It's time to get up and get to work.â
I was usually really not too bad getting up in the morning, but today I didn't want to. Today I just wanted to lay back and reminisce about the night before. What we had done.
âI have been sleeping all that time?â
He nodded in agreement and told me that he figured I needed the sleep.
When I sat up, I realized that I wasnât wearing any clothes under the sheets, that I now pulled up to my chin. It wasnât like he hadnât seen it all the day before, but that didnât mean that I was able to swallow the idea of it all. This was far more intimate, than anything that Iâd ever done before.
âI thought I went to sleep with clothes on?â Yeah like that was my biggest worry.
âYou did, but I thought you might want to be a little more comfortable. You move around in your sleep a lot.â
âYeah, I usually don't wear clothes for that reason. They always get screwed up in the night when I move around.â
It was true that I slept in the nude for a reason, but I still didn't like the idea of taking my clothes off. What was he thinking? What was I thinking? Now we had to go to work together and pretend like none of this happened. I didn't know how I was going to be able to do that.
âWell just point me in the direction of the shower, and I will get out of your way so you can get ready.â
I could see that his hair was already wet, so it was clear that he was up before me and had just laid back down. I don't know why, but I was almost sad that he wasn't going to come with me. It was silly, I knew it.
He pointed down the hallway and told me that I would run right into the bathroom. I thanked him and used the sheet to cover myself up better. I walked to the bathroom, wrapped in the sheet. It dragged behind me and I tried my best not to look behind me to see if Hail was looking. Iâd already given enough to him. I needed to hold back on giving him my heart as well.
